As of May 2020, the upload limit was updated to 4 tracks every 30 days. This takes effect from the date you upload your first track.
Our message to you is clear; we want you to send us your very best tracks. The Uploader is your window of opportunity to really impress our producers and it shouldn’t be wasted.
Before the Uploader existed one of the most common routes for unsigned artists to get their music heard was by posting a demo CD to a DJ. While the technology has changed, the importance of making a great first impression hasn’t, so it’s vital you put forward your best work, like you would on a demo CD.
The process for playlist selection works in a similar way to our normal schedule playlist process. Any songs uploaded to us by UK artists, producers, composers are eligible. Tracks uploaded are first listened to by presenters and producers working in out central broadcasting suite. A shortlist is then passed onto the Serenity Radio Management Teams who make the final decision as to who makes it onto the playlist.
